OSH Professionals newsletter

The safety and health professionals newsletter forms part of the WorkSafe email subscription service.  This service aims to provide relevant information to meet the needs of specific groups of stakeholders.  The safety and health professionals newsletter is distributed by the WorkSafe librarian each month and contains useful references and resource links, plus notification of WorkSafe events and activities.

    • Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 
      The ABS website provides statistics on the following themes: economy; environment and energy; industry; people; and regions.
    • AUSTLII - Australasian Legal Information Institute
      The AUSTLII collection contains full text databases of most Australian court decisions and legislation
    • CISDOC - Occupational Safety and Health Database
      International Labour Organization
      Bibliographic database contains about 70,000 citations related to occupational safety and health.
    • Electronic Library of Construction Occupational Safety & Health (elcosh)
      U.S. Center for Construction Research and Training
      A full text collection of occupational health and safety information related to the construction industry.  The information included ranges from toolbox talks, training resources, articles, and research reports.
    • ILO Safework bookshelf 
      International Labour Organization
      Provides full text access to the ILO Occupational Health and Safety Encyclopaedia, International Chemical Safety Cards (ICSC), ILO Conventions and Recommendations and Codes of Practice.

      World Health Organization
      Provides international evaluations of chemicals including a range of publications about chemicals, including the Environmental Health Criteria series

      Provide access to both hazardous substances information and exposure standards information
